Surfers Paradise: On our final, full day in Australia, Peep and I hopped the train, then transferred to a bus, for Surfers Paradise and the beach. We spent the day there, spending a little over an hour playing in the surf, until the first rain of our trip caused us to head indoors.
We eventually headed back to the city and our hotel to pack for the return trip to Laos.
The Return Home: The next day, we took a cab to the airport for our early-morning flight to Sydney, where we transferred to our international flight to Bangkok and then to Vientiane. We finally arrived back home about ten in the evening, exhausted but well satisfied from our vacation.
