Tad Phasuam: The day after we arrived in Pakse, we drove to a couple of waterfalls. At the first falls, we crossed a bridge over a rock wall canyon before getting a view of the falls.
Tad Fan: The second set of falls were much taller than the first. From our vantage point, we were unable to see to the bottom, a full 120 meters (131 yards) down. There was a path that led to the bottom of the falls, but we decided not to take it.
Cambodian Border: That afternoon we took a trip to the Cambodian border, where we were able to look across the river to Cambodia. This is close to the place where freshwater Irrawady dolphins can be seen and sightseeing tours are available, but we didn't stay until evening to take one.
